How to hire innovative people.

As you've probably gathered by now, I'm a big fan of those people and organisation that are willing to go out on a limb and flout the status quo .... not those that just think outside the box, but those that ask 'why boxes?'.  I guess one of the biggest challenges for organisations like these is how to recruit like-minded people....how do you evaluate all those little quirky attributes that can make all the difference and yet are so hard to define?

Here's how print-on-demand company  Lulu  approach the problem.  You think you might like to work for them?  Then here's their application form.

I love the Renaissance skill set.

What else would you put on an application form like this?

Welcome.....

  • ..this blog stems from a recognition that our true nature is far more creative, loving and unlimited than we could possibly imagine... and it transforms everything... a practical, generic solution to all our problems.

These are just my lesson notes as I try to  be true to that recognition... and  learn to fly.  So it's quite possible that everything here may be wrong.

Thank you for visiting.  Email (to Nick Smith) is always welcome.
