The little book of Flow

UPDATE: If you've landed here you might like to know that this has now been re-written and you can read the updated version here: The little book of Flow - revised

Whilst 'on leave' from blogging I started to write an a piece on 'Flow'.  The idea was that I could use the exercise to review what I had learnt to date, and also post it on this weblog by way of introduction to the stuff I blog about here.  Well, one thing led to another and I suppose I must have got carried away because it's ended up as a book.  Not a big book (50 A4 pages), but big enough to make it a bit much to swallow in one (blog) lump, so I'm going to post a chapter a day for the next 12 days.

Here are the chapters to 'The Little book of Flow'

  1. Introduction
  2. Thinking about thinking
  3. Why the flow state is so illusive
  4. Real choice - the power of our Free Will
  5. Flow on demand
  6. Towards a permanent Flow State
  7. A short cut to Perpetual Flow
  8. A miraculous way of getting things done
  9. Overcoming our resistance to Flow
  10. Allowing quantum principles to work in our life
  11. The takeaway - 4 steps to Flow
  12. Summary of this Little book of Flow

I'll make each of the above chapter titles into a hyperlink as I post each one.

This is very much a first draught of what I hope will eventually become a publishable book.  It's my first attempt at writing/publishing so any criticism/feedback/pointers would be really appreciated.  I have been known to get a bit over zealous when going on about this sort of thing so please let me know if this comes through in the writing.
Thank you.

PS.  I haven't really thought about a title. 'The Little book of Flow'  is very unoriginal but I guess it does describe what it is.  I was thinking of subtitling it 'how to let the creative power of the universe flow through our life', - you'll see where I'm coming from after reading the book but I know it does sound a bit cheesy.
PSS. Chapter 7 gets much of its copy from my previous post 'Blogging's hidden jewel' so if you read the post you might want to skip this chapter.

Welcome.....

  • ..this blog stems from a recognition that our true nature is far more creative, loving and unlimited than we could possibly imagine... and it transforms everything... a practical, generic solution to all our problems.

These are just my lesson notes as I try to  be true to that recognition... and  learn to fly.  So it's quite possible that everything here may be wrong.

Thank you for visiting.  Email (to Nick Smith) is always welcome.
